Superb again from KM Taylor, one of the shining lights in Fantasy/Horror. I ate this up in 2 sessions, the pace is relentless,plenty of gore for the horror fans out there. It took me back to King's Salem's Lot a few times, then it turns everything on its head and makes you actually think, that's a rare thing these days. I cannot recommend this enough.

KM has created a whole universe with Codex Sohrakia and her previous novels, and this is part of that. If you don't like series, this is a standalone, but once you've read it, you will seek out Codex Sohrakia. It's mind-blowing stuff. Some of the greats are mentioned here Lovecraft, Brian Lumley, Anne Rice et al, this whole universe sits right up there for me for Lore, Prose, you will fear, you will laugh, and you will love this book.
